New "Midnight Blue" In Production

Production started on two new episodes of Mainspring's suburban superhero web series Midnight Blue last week.

The episodes, being shot over the next two weeks will see the return of Matthew Turbett as Nathan (alias The Man In Midnight Blue), as well as several important new characters, including a mysterious homeless man known only by the initial "K". They will be joined by determined journalist Tim Crown played by Julian Maple.

Shooting began at the glamorous location of a deserted car park late on Sunday just as a real storm was setting in, where the production was joined by the series' new Director of Photography Isaac Hargreaves.
